Took my GR Corolla to get sensors mounted on to my tires. They could not pair the sensors to my car. Had to come back 5+ times trying to get them to pair. The aftermarket sensors they put on my car were not compatible with my car. I even warned them about it, but they insisted that the sensors worked. I heard my car being revved when it was being worked on. I have it recorded on my dash camera. But I'm not too worried about it. Still, it's a respect thing. Wasted my time going back and forth to different Toyota dealerships trying to figure out the issue just to come to a conclusion that aftermarket sensors don't work. I ended up having Toyota OEM sensors installed. They still did not have the capability to pair the sensors to my car. I had to go to the Toyota dealership to have them pair the sensors to my car. Toyota charged me an additional $400 to get them paired. I never had a TPMS installation cost me this much. I spent almost a thousand dollars in total to get this issue resolved. Highly, highly do not recommend.
Hi Alex, I appreciate our conversations and trust the outcome and misunderstanding to be worked out fairly and hopefully receive an updated review. Manual cars with tight clutches when being driven slowly on our alignment rack sometimes need a little more gas to get them moving over the bump, so we don’t have to hit it with speed. I can assure that if it was being done it was not in a disrespectful or insensitive manner, and I wish this would have been discussed with me before and/or shown me the video so I could have worked with my team on the perception of this.
