bought a whole new radiator from here and got overcharged for that, then i got charged $250 for a diagnostic that they didn’t even do the day i picked up my car i didn’t even make it home before it was overheating then i had to go back to them just for them to do a diagnostic again and they found all “new” stuff they somehow missed when they charged me the first time, terrible mechanic shop will charge you probably double to triple what the parts are worth and won’t even actually do the diagnostics they charge you for until they already have you paying for something else absolute scammers.
I'm really disappointed to receive this as we pride ourselves with going about repairs and maintenance in the proper sequence rather than trying to provide unnecessary parts. As we discussed at the initial time the car came in for the coolant leak we were able to clearly show the radiator expansion tank had a crack as well as the side of the radiator. Since the car had 199,558 miles on it we most certainly will recommend replacing the hoses as well. After completion of the repairs, test drive and another pressure test the car was not leaking coolant which is the reason it was cleared to leave. Unfortunately the cooling system of cars can be describes as a chain, when you fix one weak link something down the line becomes the next weak link in the chain. As a reminder we did not charge for diagnostic when the car came back and the water pump was now leaking from its gasket. We would be more than happy to discuss in person again or on the phone to get you a positive outcome however scammers is nothing of what we are. We develop long relationships with people so we have good understandings of their family's vehicles health and how they have been maintained.
